I specialize in body & bath products, gift baskets, hand-made bags, totes, and purses, as well as jewelry. 

The name is in memory of my mother, Daisy, and of course, I am the B. My mother was such an inspiration to me. She was so talented in so many things and I learned alot from her and her passions.

It all began some 20 years ago when I designed custom cakes & cookies for my friends and co-workers. Every cake had a theme and I pulled out all the stops. Every one told a story. From the “I Will Wear Purple” to “A Trip from Ohio to Iowa”.

Looking for a more “arthritis-friendly” avenue to vent my creativity, I started to dream. I always had an aversion to hand and body lotions due to the greasy feeling they always left on my skin. With my cosmotologist background, I set out to create my own lotion. After much research, I formulated a lotion using oils that would be readily absorbed into the skin, not sit on top of it. The Original 5-0 (5-Oil) was born. That has evolved into the present Simply Silk & Satin that is enriched with 7 added oils.

Not one to sit still, I also had a tremendous interest in jewelry. So, I decided I could make that too.

I’ve always loved to sew and my nickname in my circle of friends is the bag lady (you can always find me in the purse department!). So, I began creating my own purses and handbags. However, not as many of them make it to the website because they are sold before they get there or are being made for a custom order!

All of my products are hand made with care. I use the best ingredients, fabrics, & materials I can find that will achieve my goal of keeping my prices well under comparable products in the current marketplace. Hopefully this will enable my customers to enjoy an experience that is truly affordable.
